My Story

Hello! My name is Tyler Kelly and I welcome you to the KB Strategies website. My road to starting KB has taken many twists and turns and I would like to take a moment to share just a few with you. After graduating with my bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Kansas I briefly worked in Washington DC on Capitol Hill and then in Seattle, Washington. Given the events of the Great Recession in 2008 I decided to return to school and earned my MBA from the University of Oklahoma in 2010. Upon graduating I went to work for the investment bank, Trigon, in Warsaw, Poland. While at Trigon I was involved with the largest leveraged buyout in Europe after the Great Recession at $6.1B. This was followed by 9 years working for various commercial banks as a credit analyst underwriting multimillion dollar loans in a variety of industries. During this time, I noticed a need to help customers who were incurring a variety of financial issues. Because of this I decided to start KB Strategies to help those businesses with their financial problems. It is my firm belief that by helping these small companies and ensuring economic growth will we see a more prosperous future for tomorrow.
